Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: VPS Healthcare has hired Rothschild & Co. to advise it on a planned initial public offering (IPO) in London.

The Abu Dhabi-based company’ offering could take place in 2019, informed sources told Bloomberg News.

“A final decision has not been made and the company may decide not to proceed with a sale,” Bloomberg reported, citing sources familiar with the matter. 

Rothschild’s spokesman refused to comment.

VPS Healthcare operates 20 hospitals and more than 125 medical centres in the Middle East, Europe, and India.
