Cairo – Mubasher: Revolta Egypt is looking to establish around 300 electric vehicle charging stations across the country by 2020.

The first phase of setting up the infrastructure of the project includes the construction of 65 charging points in seven governorates at a total cost of nearly 60 million, the company’s founder Mohammed Mostafa told Alborsa News.

The company plans to import electric buses and construct charging points with EGP 100 million in investments.

Trade minister Tarek Kabil had opened Egypt’s first electric vehicle charging network last February. The network was built by Revolta Egypt in coordination with the state-owned Wataniya gas station.
