Mubasher: The reforms recently applied by Boursa Kuwait during the first half of 2017 will put the stock exchange under supervision in June as a possibility to promote it to be an emerging market in the MSCI list, according to EFG Hermes, as reported by Al Qabas News.

EFG Hermes noted that there is a possibility of 75% for Boursa Kuwait to be promoted and enter the emerging market list, Al Qabas added.

Boursa Kuwait is expected to meet the emerging markets’ requirements in terms of trading volume and liquidity, EFG said, according to Al Qabas.

It is noteworthy that Boursa Kuwait intends to offer the company’s shares for an initial public offering (IPO) in the first quarter of 2019.
