Egypt’s foreign reserves rise 0.2% by end-May
Egypt is seeking to boost its overseas reserves in the 2018/2019 budget.

 Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's foreign reserves inched up 0.2% in May, compared to a month earlier, the Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) data revealed.

The North African country’s net foreign reserves rose to $44.138 billion by the end of last month, from $44.029 billion in April, the CBE added on Monday.

In the same vein, the Arab world's most populous country is seeking to boost its overseas reserves in the 2018/2019 budget.

Earlier in April, Egypt sold two-tranche international bonds at a combined value of $2 billion ($2.46 billion).
