Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) benchmark index opened Sunday lower after 18 sectors traded in the red, whereas the NOMU parallel market index remained unchanged from Thursday’s close.
By 10: 51 am Saudi time, the Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 0.64% or 53.21 points, reaching 8,291.18 points. Turnover amounted to SAR 474.5 million after 21.46 million shares changed hands through 15,640 transactions.
The long-term goods sector shed 2%, followed by telecommunications and pharmaceuticals, which decreased 1.6% and 1.5%, respectively. Moreover, the leading materials and banking sectors shed 0.7% and 0.5%, respectively.
On the other hand, the healthcare services and commercial services sectors were the only risers on Sunday, adding 1.2% and 1.1%, respectively.
Al Sorai’s stock led fallers, sliding 9.99%, whereas National Medical Care Co jumped 9.9%
