Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) finished Tuesday in the green after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) jumped 26.49 points, or 0.32%, to 8,270.46 points.

TASI’s trading volume stood at 100.34 million shares on Tuesday, down from 111.81 million shares on Monday, while traded value fell to SAR 2.4 billion from SAR 2.63 billion.

The media, telecommunication services, materials, and banks sectors rose 4.7%, 0.4, 0.3%, and 0.07%, respectively, whereas the insurance sector shed 0.5%.

Nama Chemicals’ stock led gainers with 7.8%, whereas United Cooperative Assurance Co’s stock was the worst performer with 4.1%.

Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development’s stock led TASI in terms of trading volume after 22.04 million shares were exchanged, while Alinma Bank’s stock was the most active in terms of liquidity after generating SAR 347.83 million.

Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, levelled up 48.09 points, or 1.6%, reaching 3,113.77 points.

The parallel market’s traded volume hit 35,230 shares on Tuesday, up from 14,350 shares on Monday, while its turnover surged to SAR 1.76 million from SAR 324,170.

Baazeem Trading’s stock was Nomu’s best performer after growing 3.7%.

Thob Al-Aseel Company’s stock was the most active after 23,890 shares were exchanged, with a liquidity of SAR 1.52 million.
