Mubasher: Mortgage applications in the United States decreased last week, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA).

Data showed on Wednesday that 30-year home borrowing costs surged to its highest level since 2011.

Home loan applications declined 1.5% to 365.3 in the week that ended 8 June.
