Abu Dhabi – Mubasher:  The UAE Central Bank (CBUAE) has announced that it has amended regulations of bank loans and services offered to individual customers, setting out new maximum limits for fees and commissions charged on retail customer services.

The new change will apply to banking consumer-related charges including home loans and late fees for credit cards, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).

The CBUAE instructed banks and finance companies to post the new fees on their websites.

“All fees that are highlighted in the Amendment are exclusive of UAE value-added tax (VAT) charges set by the Federal Tax Authority,” WAM reported.
