Mubasher: The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) announced that it has issued bonds and securities valued at KWD 240 million ($794.45 million).
This bonds issue will mature in six months, according to a recent official statement.
Kuwait’s central bank noted that the bonds have a return of 2.625% which is the highest since February 2008.
The CBK’s latest issue was on 26 June at a total value of KWD 200 million with a maturity period of three months, and a return of 2.50%.
