Mubasher: Gold prices declined on Tuesday, retreating from its highest level in two weeks, as the US dollar returned to gains against major currencies.

Investors are anticipating the new development regarding the brexit, and the future of British-European relations, while the NATO summit is also expected to show the strength of the traditional Unites States alliances, and whether if it is affected by the trade war.

Gold futures for August delivery lost 0.3%, and settled at $1,255.40 per ounce.
