Mubasher: Qatar’s oil production inched up by 800 barrels per day (bpd) in June, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) said in its monthly report released Wednesday.

Qatar’s daily output reached 603,000 barrels in June, compared to 602,000 barrels in the month before.

Other oil producers also raised their production, including Saudi Arabia, which added 405,400 bpd, followed by Iraq and the UAE with 71,500 bpd and 35,100 bpd, respectively.

On the other hand, Libya’s output of oil declined by 254,300 bpd, according to OPEC's data.

Overall, OPEC’s output increased by 173,400 bpd in June to 32.327 million bpd.
