Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday's trading session on a negative note, after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) tumbled 35.7 points, or 0.42%, to 8,455 points, while the secondary market advanced.
By 10:40 am KSA time, TASI's trading volume amounted to 16.2 million shares exchanged with a turnover of SAR 434 million through 13,300 transactions.
The utilities, materials, telecommunication services, and banking sectors declined 1.04%, 0.82%, 0.63%, and 0.17%, respectively.
On the other hand, the real estate investment traded funds (REITs) sector increased by 0.05%.
Alujain Corporation’s stock was the worst performer with 4.72%, whereas Saudi Indian Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Wafa Insurance) stock led gainers with 3.78%.
Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, levelled up 11.02 points, or 0.39%, to 2,857 points.
Abo Moati for Bookstores’ stock added 6.07%.
