Mubasher: The United States crude oil production rose last week to a new record level of 11 million barrels per day (bpd) for the first time ever.

Average American production is currently close to the 11.1 million barrels per day produced by Russia, which is expected to soon make the United States the world’s biggest crude producer.

Meanwhile, US oil exports rose by 1.635 million barrels to a total 9.1 million barrels per day, while imports declined by 566,000 to 1.461 million bpd, as shown by the data of the Energy Information Administration (EIA) on Wednesday.
