Saudi indices open Thursday in red
The transportation sector declined 0.84%

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Thursday's strading session in decline after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) dropped 16.7 points, or 0.2%, to 8,435.6 points.

By 10:30 am, TASI's trading volume reached 16.4 million shares exchanged with a turnover of SAR 473 million through 11,280 transactions.

The transportation sector declined 0.84%, while the banking sector went down 0.65%.

On the other hand, the media sector rose 0.98%, followed by the materials sector with 0.18%, boosted by the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation’s (SABIC) growth, while the telecommunication services sector levelled up 0.14%.

Saudi Ground Services Co’s stock led losers with 3.59%, whereas United Wire Factories Company’s (Aslak) stock rose 3.45%.

Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, surged 56.76 points, or 2%, to 2,900.72 points.

 Thob Al-Aseel Company’s stock went up 3.28%.
