Six sectors drag down QSE at Thursday’s close
The industrial sector topped the QSE’s losers falling 0.5%

Mubasher: The Qatar stock exchange (QSE) ended Thursday in the red, pressured by the fall of six sectors.

The general index inched down 0.29%, or 27.09 points, to the last session of this week at 9,420.67 points.

The bourse’s liquidity decreased to QAR 156.63 million on Thursday from QAR 253.71 million in the previous session after trading volume went down to 5.77 million shares from 6.27 million.

The industrial sector topped the QSE’s losers falling 0.5% after Qatar Industrial Manufacturingdropped 1.93%.

Similarly, the banking sector inched down 0.07% as National Leasing Holding went down 1.6%.

Vodafone Qatar’s stock, which retreated 0.21%, led the QSE in terms of trading volume with 1.2 million shares, while the heavyweight Qatar National Bank’s (QNB) stock topped the market in terms of liquidity with QAR 22.9 million.
