Mubasher: The board members of Bahrain Telecommunications (Batelco) agreed to distribute 10% of the capital as cash dividends for the first six months of 2018.

Batelco will pay 10 fils per share as a dividend for H1-18, according to a bourse statement on Thursday.

During the first six months of 2018, Batelco achieved an increase in profits to BHD 28.8 million, compared to BHD 19.02 million in the first half of 2017.

In the second quarter of 2018, Batelco posted a profit of BHD 15.7 million, up from BHD 10.8 million in Q2-17.
