QSE starts Sunday’s trade in red
The general index fell 0.45% to reach 9,380.43 points

Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Sunday’s trading session down, dragged by six sectors.

By 10:00 am Qatar time, the general index fell 0.45%, or 40.24 points, to reach 9,380.43 points.

Turnover amounted to QAR 13.8 million after 609,600 shares were traded through 330 transactions.

The real estate sector topped the QSE’s losers falling 0.78% on the back of Barwa Real Estate’s 1.35% drop. Similarly, the industrial sector went down 0.56% after Qatari Investors Group declined 2.52%.

Meanwhile, the banking sector was the bourse’s only gainer adding 0.26% as Qatar National Bank (QNB) grew 1.10%.

Doha Bank’s stock, which leveled down 3.07%, led the market in terms of trading volume with 236,900 shares, generating QAR 6.3 million in liquidity.
