Mubasher: The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) announced it has issued bonds and securities valued at KWD 240 million ($793.4 million), according to a recent statement.

Kuwait’s central bank noted that the return on the three-month bonds will reach 2.5%.

The value of the central bank’s bonds issues in the first half of 2018 increased by 14.7% to KWD 4.77 billion when compared to KWD 4.16 billion in the same half a year ago, according to data collected by Mubasher.
