Cairo - Mubasher: Eni is expecting the production of the Zohr gas field to increase to 2 billion cubic feet per day by next September.

Current production capacity reached 1.6 billion cubic feet per day, according to the company’s statement on Friday.

The Italian energy giant also revealed that it has received EUR 50 million from the Egyptian government to finance capital costs.
