In reference to Saudi Telecom Company-STC- (the company) announcement, published on July 1st 2018, about the memorandum of understanding with General Sport Authority (GSA) and Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), the company announced signing a contract on 1 of August 2018, for TV and digital broadcasting and the marketing sponsorships with the GSA and SAFF. The contract will last 10 years starting from season 2018/2019. The deal will cost SAR 660 Million annually, and it will be self-funded. With regard to determining the financial impact and the periods in which it is reflected, the impact will be positive on the company in the long term, but it cannot be determined accurately now because it depends on the implementation plan and introduce these services and customers contributions.
It includes the matches of Saudi Professional League (SPL), Cups Competitions, and Saudi National Team matches which organized by SAFF. STC contract is considered to be the biggest in the middle east region and in the history of Saudi sport sponsorships.
STC declared that it would launch Dawri Plus Channels, to broadcast the competitions, which will allow watching all football matches through free and paid digital and traditional channels.

The agreement will include the technical sponsorship of all sporting events and the marketing sponsorship of SPL. The first official broadcast of Dawri Plus channels and application is for Super match for GSA cup on the coming August 18th which will bring together alhilal with alitihad in London.
