Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Thursday’s trading on a negative note.

By 10:10 am Qatar time, the general index went down 0.13% to 9,966.64 points, adding 9.9 points.

Turnover amounted to QAR 29.5 million after 1.8 million shares were exchanged through 810 transactions.

The industrial sector topped the QSE’s losers falling 0.8%, followed by the banking sector, which inched down 0.03%.

Meanwhile, the real estate sector headed the bourse’s gainers adding 1.82%.

Ezdan Holding Group’s stock led the QSE in terms of trading volume with 586,620 shares, generating QAR 6.03 million in liquidity.
