Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait registered a negative performance during the week ended on 2 August despite the active trades.

The All-Share Market went down 0.38% or 20 points to 5,206.07 points this week from 5,226.03 points in the past week.

The Premier Market lost 0.54% or 29.3 points to 5,349.33 points from 5,378.62 a week ago.

The Main Market edged down 0.06% or 3 points to 4,946.19 points from 4,949.13 points.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover grew by 4.2% to KWD 110.13 million this week from KWD 105.71 million a week ago.

The trading volume increased by 5% to 481.02 million shares from 458.37 million.

The number of transactions enlarged by 8.7% to around 23,510 from nearly 21,630.

Market cap shrank by 0.37% or KWD 110 million ($364 million) week-on-week to KWD 29.42 billion from KWD 29.53 million.
