Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Sunday’s trading session with a mixed performance, as the All-Share and Premier markets added 0.7% and 1.14%, respectively, while the Main Market retreated by 0.17%.

The basic materials segment topped six gainers with 4.6%, while the technology sector led four decliners with 2.17%.

Al Eid Food headed the winners with 9.92%, while Burgan Drilling was the top loser with a drop of 8.05%.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 64% to KWD 31.11 million on Sunday from KWD 18.98 million in the previous session after the trading volume grew by 34.5% to 115.93 million shares from 86.21 million.

Gulf Bank of Kuwait (GBK) was the most active stock on which 29.55 million shares were traded at a value of KWD 7.86 million, the stock went up 0.37%.
