Saudi indices end Thursday on negative note
The utilities sector decreased by 3.27%

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Thursday's trading session in decline after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went down 34.11 points, or 0.42%, to 8,176.18 points.

TASI’s traded volume stood at 170.63 million on Thursday, up from 155.66 million on Wednesday, whereas liquidity fell to SAR 4.3 billion ($1.16 billion), from SAR 4.54 billion ($1.21 billion).

The utilities sector decreased by 3.27%, followed by the banking sector with 0.55%, The materials and telecommunication services sectors dipped 0.14% and 0.04%, respectively. 

On the other hand, the retailing sector levelled up 1.44%.

Middle East Healthcare Company’s (Saudi German Hospital) stock was the worst performer with 10%, whereas the stock of Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance jumped 9.81%.

Alinma Bank’s stock, down 0.44%, was the most active after 55 million shares were exchanged, with a liquidity of SAR 1.25 billion.

In the meantime, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU dropped 25.31 points, or 0.89%, to 2,805.01 points.

Baazeem Trading’s stock slid 2.34%.
