Riyadh - Mubasher: Northern Region Cement Company announced its financial results for the second quarter of the year.

The company reported losses of SAR 6.69 million in Q2-18, versus profits of SAR 8.26 million for the same period last year.

Losses are mainly attributed to lower selling prices, which resulted from a very strong competition, the company said in a statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) on Thursday.

As for the first half of the year, the six-month period saw the company suffer net losses of SAR 5.23 million, against SAR 24.6 million in H1-17.
