TASI drops 63 pts, Nomu rises early Sunday
The healthcare sector fell 1.9%

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Sunday's trading session on a negative note, after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) plunged 63.82 points, or 0.8%, to 8,112.63 points.

By 10:45 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume hit 31 million shares exchanged through 21,240 transactions with a turnover of SAR 617.65 million.

The healthcare sector fell 1.9%, followed by the real estate management and development sector with 1.7%. The banking and telecommunication services sectors dipped 1% and 0.9%, respectively. 

The commercial and professional services sector inched up 0.08%.

Middle East Healthcare Company’s (Saudi German Hospital) stock led losers with 9.5%, whereas Saudi Cable Company’s stock topped gainers with 4.1%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, rose 2.07%, or 0.07%, to 2,807.08 points.

The stocks of Arab Sea Information System and Al-Omran Industrial Trading increased 0.2%, and 0.04%, respectively.
