Riyadh – Mubasher: A private transaction was executed on the National Petrochemical Company’s (Petrochem) stock at a value of SAR 2.93 million on Monday on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).

The deal saw trading of 104,500 shares at a value of SAR 28 per shares, according to the Saudi bourse’s data.

Petrochem’s stock saw trading between SAR 27.80 as the highest prices during the session, whereas the lowest price was at SAR 27.

Petrochem last reported a 117.69% jump in net profits to reach SAR 288 million in the second quarter of 2018, compared to SAR 132.3 million during Q2-17.

Private transactions on the stock do not affect the price of the last transaction on the stock, the high-and-low share price, the opening and closing prices, the benchmark index, or the sector indices.

Private transactions affect the trading volume, value, and the number of transactions.
