Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia's merchandise exports increased by 62.3% year-on-year, or SAR 36.96 billion, during June, the General Authority for Statistics’ (GASTAT) data revealed on Tuesday.

The kingdom’s merchandise exports amounted to SAR 95.45 billion in June, compared to SAR 58.85 billion in the same month a year earlier.

Month-on-month, the GCC nation's merchandise exports, including oil and non-oil exports, rose SAR 1.6 billion, or 1.7%, in June.

As for non-oil exports, they rose 26.7% year-on-year, or SAR 3.53 billion, to SAR 16.78 billion, GASTAT's figures found.
