Mubasher: Gold prices rose for the first time in four sessions on Tuesday, despite a strong surge by the US dollar.

Concerns regarding the Turkish economic crisis are cooling down, and emerging markets’ currencies are also recovering.

The precious metal futures for December delivery added 0.2% and settled at the level of 1,200.70 per ounce.

Meanwhile, spot gold is now at the level of 1,194.31, inching up by 0.09%.
