Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Wednesday’s trading session on a mixed noted.

The benchmark EGX30 index finished the session stable at 15,357.44 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 index tumbled 0.46% to 740.4 points, while the broader EGX100 index slipped 0.33% to 1,904.86 points.

The equal-weighted EGX50 index inched down 0.08% to 2,525.59 points.

Market capitalization gained EGP 51 million and closed at EGP 860.5 billion.

The heavyweight International Commercial Bank (CIB) edged up 0.25% to EGP 84.94, with a turnover of EGP 25.5 million.

Trading volume amounted to nearly 175.9 million shares exchanged at a turnover of EGP 629.8 million through 19,100 transactions.

Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 365.8 million and EGP 135,000, while foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 366 million.
