Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Thursday’s trading session with a mixed performance, as the Premier Market went up 0.18%, while both the All-Share and Main markets retreated 0.02% and 0.18%, respectively.

The consumer services segment topped six gainers with 0.6%, while the technology sector led five decliners with 11.2%.

KMEFIC headed the winners with 12.2%, while the Automated Systems was the top loser with 11.2%.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 28.7% to KWD 15.68 million on Thursday compared to KWD 12.18 million in the prior session after the trading volume grew by 2.9% to 72.42 million shares from 70.39 million.

The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest liquidity of KWD 2.61 million, the stock retreated 0.36%.

Ithmaar was the most active stock on which 7.82 million shares were exchanged, the stock went down 1.22%.
