Mubasher: European stocks rose slightly on Friday, supported by the recent remarks made by the United States Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell.

Europe’s Stoxx 600 Index edged up by 0.05% and settled at the level of 383.56 points, adding 0.7% for the week.

The Financial Times Stock Exchange 100 Index (FTSE 100), the main index of the London Stock Exchange (LSE) increased by 0.2% and closed at 7,577.5 points, registering a 0.3% weekly gain.

In Frankfurt, the German DAX30 index went up 0.23% to close at 12,394.52 points, up 1.5% for the week.
