QCB sells QAR 8bn local debt instruments
The sukuk issue included a three-year QAR 1 billion tranche at a yield of 3.75%

Mubasher: Qatar Central Bank (QCB) on Monday announced that it has sold conventional bonds and sukuk on Sunday at a combined value of QAR 7.85 billion ($2.16 billion), according to the bank’s statement.  

The sukuk issue included a three-year QAR 1 billion tranche at a yield of 3.75%, maturing on 2 September 2021, while the second tranche amounted to QAR 1.2 billion at a yield of 4.25%, due on 2 September 2023.

As for bonds, the central bank of the gas-rich nation issued a three-year tranche with an amount of QAR 2.45 billion at a yield of 3.75% to be matured on 2 September 2021, while the second tranche stood at QAR 3.2 billion at a yield of 3.2 billion, maturing on 2 September 2023.
