TASI inches up, Nomu stable at Tuesday’s open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Tuesday marginally higher after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) edged up 3.36 points, or 0.04%, to 7,613.01 points.

By 10:32 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 20.02 million shares, through 14,290 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 406.07 million.

The consumer services sector grew 5.7%, followed by media with 0.8%, and pharmaceuticals with 0.7%.

On the other hand, the commercial and professional services sector fell 0.56%, while food and beverages inched down 0.55%.

Al Tayyar Travel Group’s stock led gainers with 9.7%, whereas the National Petrochemical Company’s (Petrochem) stock was the worst performer with 1.9%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 2,497.34 points.
