DFM ends Sunday near stability on insurance, real state
The insurance sector declined 1.1%

Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM) general index inched down 2.44 points, or 0.09%, to close at 2,761.94 points on Sunday, pressures by the insurance and real estate sectors.

The insurance sector declined 1.1% after Takaful Emarat dropped 4.97 and Salama fell 1.77%.

The real estate sector shed 0.13%, as Arabtec Holding levelled down 2.36% and Emaar Properties sank 0.21%.

On the other hand, the banks sector edged up 0.09%, after Ajman Bank grew 1.06%.

The DFM’s trading volume reached 135.77 million shares, while the market’s liquidity amounted to AED 133.72 million.
