Mubasher: Ooredoo on Wednesday revealed that its fully-owned subsidiary, Ooredoo International FinanceLimited (OIFL), has determined 19 October for interest payment for its Global Medium Term Note (GMTN) holders.

The telecom firm will pay an amount of $18.75 million for the bondholders, according to a filing to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).

For the first half of 2018, net profits of the dual-listed company on both the QSE and the Abu Dhabi Securities (ADX) declined 37.2% to QAR 688.92 million, from QAR 1.96 billion in H1-17.

By 12:25 pm Qatar time, Ooredoo’s stock rose 1.25% at QAR 68.91.
