Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia-based Al Jouf Cement Company has exported its first cement shipment to Yemen, which includes 9,000 tonnes.

The transaction’s financial impact will appear in the financial results of the third quarter of 2018, according to a statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) on Monday.

The Saudi cement producer last reported turning to a loss after suffering SAR 13.7 million during the second quarter of 2018, against a net profit of SAR 10.5 million in Q2-17.

Al Jouf Cement also incurred SAR 9.6 million in losses during H1-18, against a profit of SAR 26.8 million in H1-17.
