With reference to the resolutions of Vodafone-Qatar’s AGM and EGM meetings, and the press release, dated February 26th 2018, issued by the company and entitled "Vodafone Qatar’s Proposed Changes that will Set it for the Future," Vodafone Qatar announced that it has obtain the approvals of Qatar Financial Markets Authority and the Ministry of Economy and Trade with regards to the reduction of the Company's capital from QR 8,454,000,000 to QR 4,227,000,000 through reducing the nominal value of the Company's shares from QR 10 per share to QR 5 per share.


Vodafone Qatar is currently completing the necessary procedures to ratify the proposed amendments to the Company's Articles of Association, which were previously approved by Vodafone Qatar's shareholders at the company’s EGM held on March 19, 2018 to reflect the capital reduction and related amendments in its Commercial Register .
