Mubasher: US Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported on Thursday that the country’s natural gas storage jumped by 90 billion cubic feet (Bcf) in the week ended 5 October to a total of 2,956 Bcf.

Stockpiles were 627 Bcf less than last year’s figure, while they were 607 Bcf below the five-year average of 3,563 Bcf, the EIA data showed.

By 2:19 pm, Nymex natural gas futures dipped 2.95% to $ 3.19 per million British Thermal Units (MMBtu).
