Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai-based facility management company Imdaad on Monday announced signing a three-year AED 14.1 million contract with DXB Entertainments to provide integrated facilities management services at the latter’s Safari Park, based in Dubai.

Under the contract, Imdaad will be entrusted with providing facilities services and the maintenance of Safari Park’s electrical and plumbing systems, heating, ventilation and cooling systems, the IFM solutions provider said.

The scope of services also covers the construction of supply wastewater treatment, fire alarm system, security gates, and lighting control systems as well as the installation of video surveillance cameras at the park.

“We are confident that our industry-leading offerings will enable us to enrich visitor experience at Dubai Safari in addition to complementing the park’s energy efficient and environment-friendly operations,” Jamal Abdulla Lootah, Group CEO of Imdaad, commented . In September, Imdaad announced that it had allocated AED 100 million to finance new acquisitions in 2017.

Imdaad was negotiating takeover deals with three companies specialised in the services and systems related to the integrated facility management, to acquire one of them by the end of the year, the CEO previously said.
