Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday in red territory, after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) slumped 148.4 points, or 1.96%, to 7,419.16 points.

By 10:40 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 57.17 million shares exchanged through 32,500 transactions at a turnover of SAR 1.26 billion.

The media, energy, telecommunication services, banking, and materials sectors went down 5.96%, 4.24%, 2%, 1.83%, and 1.54%, respectively.

Eastern Province Cement Company’s stock was the worst performer with 8.13%, while the Saudi Industrial Export Company’s (SIEC) stock was the best performer with 9.96%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu secondary market, decreased 1.17 points, or 0.05%, to 2,372.02 points,

Arab Sea Information System’s stock levelled down 1.25%.
