Faisal Islamic Bank Egypt’s business volume rises 11.4% in September
The bank’s total assets rose by 1.3% to EGP 89.53 billion in September

Cairo – Mubasher: Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt on Sunday reported an 11.4% year-on-year growth in its business volume during September, recording EGP 91.19 billion from EGP 81.82 billion.

The bank’s total assets rose by 1.3% to EGP 89.53 billion last month, versus EGP 80.42 billion in the year-ago period, according to a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

The Islamic lender’s current accounts and saving schemes increased by 11.1% or EGP 76.51 billion at the end of September, while liquidated assets rose 36.5% to EGP 49.4 billion.

It is worth noting that Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt reported EGP 1.9 billion in net profit for the first nine-month period of 2018, versus EGP 1.1 billion in the corresponding period of 2017.
