SCTH, Careem ink deal to boost Saudi tourism sector
The deal aims to improve the Kingdom's tourism industry

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) on Tuesday has signed a cooperation agreement with
Careem, a Middle East competitor to Uber Technologies.

The deal aims to improve the Kingdom's tourism industry by helping tourists in planning for their trips through the Dubai-based ride-hailing firm’s technologies, according to the SCTH’s Twitter account.

The contract also includes activating the tour guide service that will help visitors, in addition to offering information about tourist and heritage locations through Careem’s application.

The deal was signed on the sidelines of the 38th edition of GITEX Technology Week 2018 which kicked off on 14 October at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
