Aramco’s new terminal in Yanbu raises West Coast exports
The terminal includes a tank farm and offshore facilities to load, receive, and store AL and ASL crude oil

Riyadh – Mubasher: State-run Saudi Aramco on Wednesday said that the newly-established facility in South of Yanbu will contribute to adding three million barrels per day (bpd) to its West Coast export capacity.

Crude oil was loaded on a Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) in the new terminal on 12 October, the world's largest oil producer said in a statement.

The terminal includes a tank farm and offshore facilities to load, receive, and store Arab Light (AL) and Arab Super Light (ASL) crude oil, the statement said. 

“The successful startup of Yanbu South Terminal is another milestone in reinforcing Saudi Aramco position as the world’s leading integrated energy and chemicals producer, operating in a safe, sustainable, reliable and environmentally-friendly manner,” Executive Head of Pipelines, Distribution, and Terminals Abdullah M. Al-Mansour stated.

Completion of operating Yanbu South Terminal stressed Aramco’s commitment to the business environment, Abdulaziz M. Al-Judaimi, the firm’s senior vice president for Downstream commented.
