Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Thursday in the red after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 13.54 points, or 0.18%, to 7,644.33 points.
By 10:35 am Saudi time, TASI’s traded volume hit 18.33 million shares exchanged through 14,590 transactions at a turnover of SAR 390.72 million.
The transportation sector levelled down 0.9%, followed by the diversified financials sector with 0.7%.
The materials sector dipped 0.37%, while the telecommunication services and banking sectors fell 0.3% and 0.2%, respectively.
On the other hand, the capital goods and consumer services sectors increased 1.2%, and 0.5%, respectively.
Allied Cooperative Insurance Group’s (ACIG) stock was the worst performer with 1.7%, whereas the Saudi Industrial Export Company’s (SIEC) stock jumped 9.9%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, inched up 0.05 points, to 2,318.39 points.
Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock edged up 0.05%.
