Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Sunday’s trading session in negative territory, dragged by a massive drop of all sectors.
The benchmark Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) retreated 173.23 points, or 2.3%, to 7,474.92 points.
By 10:40 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 41.41 million shares exchanged through 23,750 transactions at a turnover of SAR 781.84 million.
The consumer durables and apparel sector led TASI’s losers falling 4.2%, followed by the utilities and transportation sectors which dropped 3.7% and 3.5%, respectively.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, levelled down 75.78 points, or 3.2%, to 2,310.71 points.
