Cairo – Mubasher: Cairo Leasing is looking to raise its existing financing to EGP 1.1 billion this year, the firm’s managing director and CEO said.

These financings are being pumped into the industrial, real estate, and food sectors, Ahmed Sherif told Mubasher.

The company has invested EGP 600 million during the first nine months of 2018 and is considering further investments worth EGP 500 million for the remainder of the year, Sherif highlighted.

He revealed that the Egyptian firm is jointly arranging an EGP 200 million loan with another two leasing firms.

He also pointed out that the company has entered around four to five joint transactions in various sectors over the past period.

Cairo Leasing is one of Banque Du Caire’s investment arms with around EGP 500 million in capital.
