TASI rises modestly, Nomu drops at Sunday’s close
TASI’s traded volume amounted to 188.75 million shares on Sunday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Sunday’s trading session in green territory, after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) grew 0.16%, or 12 points, to 7,660.21 points, after two consecutive drops.

TASI’s traded volume amounted to 188.75 million shares on Sunday, against 114.55 million on Thursday, while the main market's liquidity grew to SAR 4.76 billion, from SAR 3 billion.

The food and beverages sector topped TASI’s four gainers adding 3.11%, followed by the banking sector, which rose 1.23%.

On the flip side, the utilities sector headed the bourse’s losers falling 3.68%, followed by the media and basic materials sectors, which declined 3.62% and 1.04%, respectively.

By the end of the first session of this week, SABEC’s stock, which advanced 0.16%, led TASI in terms of liquidity with SAR 771.66 million, while Al Inma’s stock, which levelled down 1.74%, spearheaded the market in terms of trading volume with 25.26 million shares.

In the meantime, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, went down 3.7%, or 73.23 points, to close at 2,313.26 points.
