Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday with a decline after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 84 points, or 1.1%, to 7,576.25 points.
By 10:30 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 24.26 million shares exchanged through 15,760 transactions at a turnover of SAR 502.95 million.
The banking, telecommunication services, and materials sectors levelled down 1.84%, 1.03%, and 0.67%, respectively.
On the other hand, the capital goods sector rose 1.46%, while the food staples and retailing sector added 0.87%.
The Saudi British Bank’s (SABB) stock was the worst performer with 3.4%, while the Saudi Industrial Export Company’s (SIEC) stock was the best performer after growing 9.88%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 2,313.26 points.
