Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia is a major economic partner for Russia, the Russian Direct Investment Fund’s (RDIF) CEO Kirill Dmitriev said in his speech during the Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference on Tuesday.

He added that the GCC nation has great investment and partnership opportunities and the Saudi people are keen on implementing the crown prince’s “Vision 2030” reform plan.  

The oil-rich Kingdom also has strong partnerships in technology and is willing to Saudise the sector, Dmitriev noted.

On Monday, the RDIF affirmed its participation at the FII conference, as part of its plan to raise economic cooperation with the Arab nation over the coming period.

Earlier on Tuesday, the FII conference, dubbed “Davos in the Desert”, started in the Saudi capital Riyadh and will continue until Thursday, 25 October.
